CASE: Instruction Asian EODD unit in Sharkmarine Navigator

Underwater navigation training

In the past we have provided underwater navigation training to an asian EOD unit on site. This unit had several Navigators and where looking to update there skills in the use of the equipment as wel as train new members of the unit.

The training was provided on a location chosen by the customer. By tailoring the training to the requirements of the customer we assure that we can make the most out of a training. User cases, demo’s and archive imagery can all be use to bring the knowledge of the user to an optimal level.

Technology is crucial in mine warfare at sea, enabling navy EOD units to detect, dispose of, and protect against mines and IED’s. Sensors such as sonar and magnetometers mounted on handhelds can assist a diver in locating these mines or other objects in the water. Explosive charges and specialized tools can be used to dispose of mines safely
