ROV

Training.

Why take ROV training?

Providing training to both govermental agencies and the industry. Ensuring in depth knowledge about the use of underwater vehicles and the environment they work in. It is often not the technologie of the vehicle that makes operations complicated but the envirement surrounding the vehicle.

An underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) is a robot that can be remotely controlled and used for tasks underwater, such as inspection, maintenance, and scientific research. ROVs can be small or large, portable or tethered to a surface vessel, and can operate at various depths. They are equipped with sensors, cameras, and manipulators and are used in industries like offshore oil and gas, governmental agencies, and scientific research. ROVs are often used for tasks that are too dangerous or impractical for humans to perform, and have advanced significantly in recent years with the use of high-definition cameras, sophisticated sensors, and advanced control systems.

At Subsea Fundamentals we provide training in the use of small man portable ROV’s. We train individuals or groups to successfully prepare, deploy, operate and recover an ROV to search for objects below the water surface. As the vehicle may be easy to operate, to do so in large waters or without visibility can be challenging.
